When I handed out each athletic clearance card I told EVERY athlete that "as soon as coach tells you its time to pay your fees you must do it as soon as humanly possible with the book keeper or you will not play in your first contest, do you have any questions?"

Subject: Activity Fee Payment Now Required for Participation

My understanding is that our spring season athletes have received adequate notification of the requirement to pay their activity fee before the first competition of the season. Also, at this point they have had adequate time to get this responsibility taken care of. Effective immediately, my expectation is that coaches will prevent athletes from participating if they owe participation fees. Diana Tschimperle is prepared to work with coaches to assist in the collection of fees and the reporting of athletes who still owe fees.
As always, the inability to pay the fee should not stand in the way of an athlete participating --but the athlete must complete the paperwork requesting a scholarship prior to being allowed to compete.
Please let me know if there are any questions or concerns about this process. Thanks for your cooperation.
