Rationale

 

The payment of a participation fee is necessary for the school district to continue to offer this activity as part of the athletic and activity program. This fee must be paid (or an arrangement for payment) by the first day of competition or performance by the student so the budgetary obligations associated with this activity can be met.

 

Guarantee

 

The payment of this fee does not guarantee the student will participate in every scheduled competition. Students who quit or are dismissed for disciplinary reasons will not have the Participation Fee refunded.

 

Annual Fee

 

The annual, one-time fee of $25 is due prior to competition.

 

Fee for Activity

 

The fee for this activity is $25. Please make all checks payable to PASD. Fees must be paid prior to the first scheduled contest or activity.

 

Pledge

 

We fully understand that the Participation Fee allows my son/daughter to participate as a member of the _______________________ for the _________________ season/semester. We pledge to fulfill our obligation and responsibilities associated with this Participation Fee as stated in the rational above and understand that any nonpaid fee will be directed according to the Board of Education’s policy on payment of fees.

Activity Fee Extension: A request for special arrangements to pay activity fees can be made at the office of the District Athletic Director.
